Chatting Over Coffee Friday

    Hi, I am finally able to sit down here again on a Friday and chat to you all. And yes it is over coffee. I have recovered  form my 32ozer. Speaking of coffee, yesterday on my way home from Missoula , I stopped at the coffee shack and order a 20 oz, latte with low fat milk and only 3 shots, oh and a little sugar free Butter Rum, YUMMY. Had a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free. What a deal, Wait  20+20=40 Oz's. 
No really I learned my lesson. One was moms.
  Took Mom yesterday to a new hearing aids place. Nice man. Mom has hearing aids now, but the lady she was seeing, keeps her waiting for over an hour each time, just to see her. The last 3 appointments she waited over an hour Mom just got up and left. That is why we went to a new place. Mom is taking back the ones she has now, for various reason. Getting new one that fit inside the ear.  I know when Mom doesn't have them on. 
  Me. " Mom come and eat."
Mom gets up and goes to the window and looks out.
Me." Mom what are you doing?"
Mom . " I don't see any sheep in the yard."
   I have plenty of days like that.  She doesn't like to wear them , they make her ears itch. So back to the Hearing place we go.

   Mom and I stopped at a Mexican restaurant in Lolo. Named Heraldo's. Very good place , if you are ever in Lolo stop by. Anyway after a great meal, I decided to stop for the coffee. I thought I did good by just getting the 20ozer. It was like dessert. Hey does anyone know what Mexican Flan is? I thought about it. Was going to ask, but didn't want to find out then not order it.  So I had coffee instead.
 
   Happy Wedding day Saturday to my niece Cheyenne, Wish I could be there with you. Much happiness and love to you and David. Send me pictures.

     Here is my advice for what its worth. When you have a grey haired elder living with you and you have to take them anywhere , where you have to wait out in a waiting room for them , DRESS them in something bright. Like Orange, I take her in and wait for her and I don't know how many times I look up from my book because I see some grey haired old lady and think it is mine , but it isn't. I never knew there were so many Elders around.

     Advise for the ladies, go out and buy yourself the bath washing gloves. They are great. They lather well, they even fit my big old hand. Best thing I have found other then shower body scrub for removing the top layer of skin. Come on ladies I know you all know what I am talking about. I was so smooth after I used those gloves. Well worth the 2 bucks at Walmart.

Question of the week. What shoes do you have from 1979?

   I have a pair of Dr. Schols. the originals wooden ones with the leather strap, I still wear them.
My dad was badly hurt in a truck accident in 1979 and was in the hospital . My brother Fran came home on leave from the Navy and I was walking { Clomping ) around the hospital in them.  Next thing I know is my brother taking me to the store and buying me my first pair of Nike's. Nice wish I still had them too.
   Saw on EBay a pair of Dr. Schols going for $ 80.00 the original  Mine not for sale.

FAT HAT TUESDAY

Wow it has been a busy week for me , so be sure to check out Chatting Over Coffee Friday.

 So Fat Hat Tuesday, is on Thursday this week. This cute  little fireman hat I made for my grandson's birthday. I crocheted  it in about 3 hours. I did pull  it out twice, the first time it looked way to big, It fit my hubby's fat head. The next time it was to small , looked newborn. The 3rd time just right, well it was his 3rd birthday. So I guess it was fitting..
  The two red things on the yellow patch were to be axes, my daughter thought they were shovels. My grandson thought that this was the greatest hat ever. I also sent him a fire truck, and a kids bag of fire stuff . My Hubby is a fireman here MT. so he brought it home to put in the box.
  My daughter said he was very happy with it all, and he put the hat on right away. It made him happy, and that is what Granny's are for. So I am happy too.

FAT HAT TUESDAY

   Hi, here's a new one I thought I would try.   I love hats , big hats, little hats, paper hats, hats that I made.

  I love to crochet so a lot of my hats will end up on this Fat Hat Tuesday. This hat my BFF got for me  to go along with her Buffalo Hat. This is one of my favorites.   My bear hat, never wear this one while hunting in MT.
   I was going to do a fat fashion Tuesday ,but figured you all didn't need to see that. So that is why I am doing hats. Hang with me I have a lot of hats.
  I am just learning how to add pictures , soon maybe I will be able to do links.

   OMG, I went to a well known coffee shack around here to get a latte. You all know how I love my coffee.
I could drink it in the Morin, afternoon ,dessert, and before bed. I am talking I love my coffee!!!
   I am looking at the menu for the favor' s of  their sugar free syrups. Okay I have a choice of 12  favors. With nuts, without that nutty taste, white, chocolate, white chocolate. Rum, English toffee, etc. I decided on the English toffee . Okay that done and it only took to 5 minutes to decide that.
  Now the size , you got 6 oz,8 oz, 12oz, 22 oz, and hold your hat batman, 32 Oz's , guaranteed to keep you going for two days . Guess which one I got. That's right 32ozer. I figured I would be sipping on that thing all day.That only took five minutes to decide that one.
  32ozer , sugar free English toffee, LOW FAT milk ( got to watch the cals) with five shots, Latte please.
12 smakaroos later and 8 minutes waiting time. I got the two handed coffee.It barely fit in my cars drink holder. Now for the drive home , I did get it with the little slipping straws. Must  maintain my lady like status. Okay their is straight away , and no other cars are coming in my direction, hands off wheel and slip. Back down, Spit it on widow shield cause that monster is HOT!!! Where was the fricking warning? I ask you "How was I know to know that it takes at least two hours to cool that thing down."
  Pull over and put it in park , dig around under the mounds of stuff on backseat, aha I find a half full water bottle. (notice how I said half full) . I know I have paper towels I never leave home without them. Clean off inside of window and dashboard. I open lid off monster cup , blow , stir, blow, a touch of water. Lid back on , small sip. Still hot.
   Arrive home, take the lid off stir, sip , alright I can drink it now. I drink, and drink some more, nowIcangaranteethat , thatistheBESTcoffeeever,and whatdayisitTIMEigotplentyarrrggggggggg..............
