Chatting Over Coffee Friday

                                                            The last Wish

I was out walking in the woods ,
I came upon a Wish Maker.
Oh a Wish Maker,
Put there just for me.
Don't just grab it up ,
And make a foolish wish.
Just think about this for a minute,
This is the last wish of the year.
Maybe money, no health ,
A new car, no a big T.V..
Wait a month long vacation ,
Hawaii ,no Paris,no Italy
Spain sounds nice, Jamaica even nicer.
Oh those shoes I saw,
Along with the dress and purse.
I should could use a new house.
Wait a in house gym,
No a pool with a spa.
An on call masseur.
A really good man,
He has to be cute,
Have a really good job.
HA, HA, HA,........
Okay maybe, maybe, maybe, Maybe,
I wish there was a bathroom right here.......
AHCHOO,
(Blows all the fluff off).
AH SHOOT.

So I hope you enjoyed the poem  on chatting over coffee Friday.

Till my next talk, Peace and Happiness

Boo'tober

     IT'S BOO'TOBER TIME!!!!!

Not only is this the month for costume making it is also the time for CANDY, and scary stories.
I love a good scary story, don't like all the blood and guts stuff through. Oh by the way the above picture is my sweet little granddaughter and myself as mama mouse and baby mouse, many years ago.
This month I am going to try and tell you as many things that give me a fright as I can. Starting with what scares me the most. Here is number 1.

The thing that scares me the most is ATTICS. I will not go in one, I have one here and I have boxes and more boxes stacked in front of the door. You ask what is so scary about attics, well let me tell you.
When you are watching a movie where does the lone girl always go to be hacked to death or gobbled up , " THE ATTIC" and there you are yelling  from your easy chair, " don't go in there." But does she listen? Hell no and " hack", " gobble", later and she is gone. When the lone girl is in bed, and her parents are out for the night, where does she hear a noise come from? alas but above her bed, the "ATTIC". So she goes up there finds some doll and brings it back to her room , and Hack and Gobble , and she is gone.
I wasn't always afraid of the attic, we always had a house with one, when growing up , great hide and seek spot. When I was fifteen my parents let me and my friend Tee  go to the movies in the big town of Auburn CA. while they where at a dance at the Fair Grounds, We told them the movie would be over by midnight, and that they would pick us up in front of the theater. The movie we saw was the famous movie of the 1975 The Exorcist , What a scary movie that was , and it all started over a Ouija board in the ATTIC.
The movie got out at around 11:15 or so and we were not about to stand there in front of that theater that long but our self's. Tee is older then I and she made the decision to walk to the fair grounds, which were not far from the theater , we could be there in before my parents dance was over. So here we were walking along and Tee started talking about the movie and I must say it was one of the fastest 4 block run I ever did, well except when the bull chased Kathleen and me into the barn.
So the result of a mere child going to see that movie scared for life. Okay I was 15, but compared to my 50 years of today a baby I was.
So my friends , I ask you this question , " What scares you?"

Till my next talk, Peace and Happiness.
